Terms & Conditions - please read before signing booking form

Booking - Please follow these steps when making a booking:

  1. Check the availability of the dates you require by either telephoning David Edelsten on
    +44(0)1285 720421/720190 or e-mailing at david.edelsten@outlook.com
  2. Provisional bookings should be made by telephone or e-mail and these will be held for a maximum of
    14 days.  If no confirmation is received by then the dates will be released.
  3. Confirmation of booking will be made once the completed booking form and deposit have been received.
  4. The booking form should be printed out, completed in full, and sent together with your deposit cheque to:
    David Edelsten, Hill Farm House, Queen Street, Chedworth, Cheltenham, Glos GL54 4AG.
    Cheques should be made payable to D.M.Edelsten.
  5. Balance of payment is due at least 8 weeks prior to arrival.  Please also enclose a separate cheque of £100 per week to cover breakages etc. This security deposit will be returned after our agent has checked the villa.

    Please Note - under no circumstances may more than 8 persons occupy the villa.  The Owner will not accept single sex bookings if all the party are under the age of 25 years. 

Arrivals and Departure  Check-in times are after 4pm on the day of arrival.  Check-out times are by 10am on the day of departure, unless special arrangements have been agreed.

Cancellation  Provided the Owner receives written notice of cancellation not less than 8 weeks before the holiday commencement date, the hirer will not be required to pay the full balance, the amount of the deposit shall be forfeited.
In the event of the hirer having to cancel their booking, the following charges will apply:
         More than 8 weeks prior to departure - deposit only
         Between 6-8 weeks prior to departure - 50% of rental
         Less than 6 weeks prior to departure - 100% of rental

Liability  The Owner cannot accept liability for the acts and omissions of those over whom he has no control (such as airlines, car hire companies, rental management companies and other such third party individuals, businesses, or organisations).  The Owner cannot accept liability for any injury, illness or loss of life sustained by guests or any visitors to the villa, swimming pool or grounds, or for any loss or damage to any property brought to the villa. 

Hirer's Responsibilities  The hirer is expected to take all responsible care of the villa and all of its contents, fixtures and fittings.  The villa should be left clean and tidy on departure.

Amendments  If after booking the hirer decides to alter any details, the Owner will do their utmost to make the requested changes, provided that reasonable notice has been given.

Changes or Cancellation  Wherever possible any changes will be advised to the hirer without delay.  Should circumstances beyond the Owner's control require them to cancel a booking, they will where possible, make alternative arrangements. 

Force Majeure  The Owner accepts no responsibility for and shall not be liable in respect of loss or damage or charges caused by force majeure events (e.g. strikes, fire, flood, wind, storms, closure of airports, traffic accidents or delays, bad weather, war, riot, civil disturbance, forced entry, etc.) or any other event beyond their control.
